Dabigatran Etexilate 110 mg capsules are blood thinners used to prevent and treat serious blood clots, reducing the risk of stroke and heart attack in conditions like atrial fibrillation (irregular heartbeat) and to prevent clots in patients after hip or knee replacement surgery, as well as treating deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE). It works by blocking a clotting protein (thrombin) to keep blood flowing freely, preventing clots in the heart, lungs, brain, and legs.
