APIXABAN 5mg
Uses for Apixaban 5mg:
*Stroke and Blood Clot Prevention in AFib: Primarily used to prevent stroke and systemic embolism in patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation.
*Treatment of DVT and PE: Used to treat existing deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism, often following an initial 10mg dose for 7 days.
*Secondary Prevention: Reduces the risk of recurring DVT and PE.
*Post-Operative Prophylaxis: Used to prevent blood clots in the legs and lungs after hip or knee replacement surgery.
